I have just purchased the RS-7, which I am expecting to receive today. I noticed you mentioned that you could buy another one & convert it into a double strap. I thought I would post a little FAQ from their website as an FYI.

Will the CoupleR work with the ______?
Because of the RS-7′s curved pad, it’s really not a good match. However, the CoupleR performs admirably with any combination of RS-4s and RS-5s.

Yeah, the 60d uses the LP-E6, which is the same as the 5DMII and 7D, which means this PB70-24 would also work for it as well.

Do you know if the 60D uses the same battery as the 7D? I am looking to upgrade soon.

No, they do not go all the way through, which means that you can spin one wheel at a time. I'm not exactly sure how far the bolt goes in though.
